Beam restored
At 05:25 November 18, 2008 Sector 23 FE-EPS has been investigated and reset and there is ~98.5mA of stored beam. Shutter permit has been enabled for fill #20. Tue, 18 Nov 2008 05:24:06 -0600 Beam Loss
Beam was lost 04:25 November 18, 2008 due FE-EPS trip at sector 23. Investigating and estimated injection within one hour from beam loss. Thu, 13 Nov 2008 20:38:06 -0600 (CST) Beam Loss @2016 on 11/13
Storage Ring power supply "S2B:Q2:PS" failed at 2016 tonight causing a beam loss. OPS is currently following procedures to swap out the failed equipment and restore beam. If the swap out and recovery goes well, beam should be restored by around 2130. Further emails will be sent if appropriate. Thu, 13 Nov 2008 17:26:55 -0600 (CST) Brief TopUp and Realtime Feedback suspension
At 1715 today November 13th a configuration change was made to Realtime Feedback. This required TopUp and Realtime Feedback to both be very briefly aborted. All controllaws and TopUp were running again within 4 minutes. Slight elevated beam motion may have been noticeable. Wed, 12 Nov 2008 21:26:05 -0600 (CST) IOCS25FB issue; topup was aborted from 20:54 until 21:20
Top - up was aborted at 20:54 due to invaild reading for IOCS25FB. IOC has been rebooted and topup resumed at 21:20 Mon, 10 Nov 2008 02:40:42 -0600 top up
At 02:34 top up was aborted due to an injector magnet problem. At 02:35 the problem was corrected and top up resumed. Mon, 10 Nov 2008 01:47:59 -0600 (CST) Beam recovery
The MPS latch card replacement and validation was successful. Shutters were enabled for fill #17 at 01:40 10 November 08. Sun, 9 Nov 2008 23:54:07 -0600 (CST) Beam loss
On 09 November 08, at 22:14, beam was lost due to a MPS latch card trip in sector 21. A technician is now on-site and starting replacement of the card. A validation test of this card will have to be performed after replacement. At this time the estimate for repair and refill is approximately 2 hours from now. Updated information will be emailed once the technician has a chance to investigate the problem further. Thu, 6 Nov 2008 08:54:05 -0600 (CST) current beam loss
The radiation monitor has been repaired. OPS is currently working to prepare Fill #13. Expected stored beam by 09:00. Thu, 6 Nov 2008 08:15:55 -0600 (CST) (no subject)
Beam loss is due to a faulty radiation monitor. Repairs are underway. Earliest expected stored beam will be at 09:15. Wed, 05 Nov 2008 21:54:42 -0600 PS trip
Due to the need to replace 2 Storage Ring converters, the downtime is will likely last until ~23:30 Sun, 02 Nov 2008 13:00:51 -0600 Realtime Feedback issues have been correcter
The Realtime Feedback IOC communication problem has been resolved. SR Orbit Correction and Realtime Feedback are operational again, and beam motion has returned to normal Sun, 02 Nov 2008 12:50:42 -0600 Issues with Realtime Feedback Communications continue.
An announcement will be made and an email sent when the Realtime Feedback Communications issues are corrected. Sun, 02 Nov 2008 12:19:07 -0600 Realtime Feed IOC issue.
Communication lost with Realtime Feedback IOC. No SR Orbit Correction or RTFB running. Beam motion increased, and will increase during IOC reboot. Sun, 02 Nov 2008 12:10:30 -0600 Beam motion.
